Message from the President, 2025–2026

Dear NABIP NM Members,

Welcome to a new NABIP NM year—July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026! I’m honored to continue serving as your president and grateful for the board’s confidence in my leadership. Thank you for your membership. So many of you have been with us for years, and your commitment to this chapter, your career, and your community speaks volumes. NABIP members are truly the best of the best—the ones who lead, excel, and inspire.

I hope you’ve joined us for a Continuing Education session, a fundraiser, or advocated for our industry by sending a Shout Out or attending Day on the Hill. However you’ve participated, we appreciate you. Let’s keep up the excellent work! Our passionate volunteer board works year-round to bring you meaningful content—from newsletters and email blasts to seminars and fundraisers. If you see a board member, be sure to thank them—they truly go above and beyond.

Last year’s membership campaign brought in new faces, and while we also saw a few members step away, that’s where your help makes a difference. Please share your NABIP experience with colleagues and business partners—membership has real benefits! We kicked off the 2024–2025 year with a strong Medicare Summit, followed by a CE event and legislative visits in Santa Fe where we partnered with NAIFA to educate lawmakers on industry-impacting bills. We then hosted our largest fundraiser yet at TopGolf, gifting over $1,400 to Roadrunner Food Bank!

Looking ahead, we’re excited about what’s next. Our 2025 Medicare Summit & Member Appreciation event is set for August 15th at the CNM Workforce Training Center. Visit our website's meeting page for details. My goal as president is to promote our chapter, increase membership and sponsor engagement, and offer high-impact education with the latest insights. I’m committed to delivering the value you deserve.
